Hello AgentOS

Serve a minimal AgentOS with one Postgres-backed agent, team, and workflow.

Serve one persistent agent as a FastAPI application. After the server starts, open http://localhost:7777/config to inspect the API surface, then connect the server to the AgentOS control plane at https://os.agno.com.

Run the Example

1. Set up your virtual environment

   Mac

   uv venv --python 3.12
   source .venv/bin/activate
   
2. Install dependencies

   uv pip install -U "agno[mcp,os]" openai
   
3. Export your OpenAI API key

   Mac/Linux

   export OPENAI_API_KEY="your_openai_api_key_here"
   
4. Run the example

   Save the code above as basic.py, then run:

   python basic.py
